Omen Paris launches the nut, a jewel imagined and created by French designer Xavier Penichot. He has worked for prestigious brands such as Cartier and the great houses of Place Vendôme with their exceptional expertise. With this jewel, he wanted to explore new horizons in the field of jewelry. Blending industrial and aeronautical inspirations with a sophisticated, elegant and timeless design.
316L Surgical Steel know-how
316L surgical steel is used for luxury watchmaking creations. This alloy is appreciated for its strength and also for its high resistance to corrosion, 2 elements we consider essential for our jewelry.
In terms of aesthetics, 316L surgical steel is a stainless steel whose lustre remains intact over time and never tarnishes. Last but not least, 316L surgical steel can be easily and infinitely recycled without losing any of its qualities. Ecological commitment is one of Omen Paris’s core values, so we naturally turned to this type of steel for our Made in France jewelry designs.
EPV label cord
We’ve decided to accompany our 316L surgical steel nut with a polyester cord. This cord guarantees maximum comfort and strength. This cord is made by a textile workshop, certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company), working with leading luxury brands. What’s more, it’s water-resistant, totally unisex and allergen-free.
Finally, the assemblies between the nut and the cord are made in our Paris workshops.
